Hi Gabriella, I’d love to know how you manage your tasks day to day. Do you find a particular app useful or simply use your calendar to keep you focused?

Hey Ruth! That’s such a great question. I use Google Calendar, if it doesn’t go in there, it doesn’t happen! I also have an Appointed Task Planner (which I’ve been using for years!) and I also use Asana. I always start off planning my 12 Week Year in Asana, plotting and mapping everything out, then creating the sub-tasks of those bigger goals, new product launches etc. Then I’ll put any launches, events or meetings in Google Calendar and use my Appointed Task Planner (I’ve been thinking I should do an article on this in more detail), for both personal and professional so I don’t drop the ball. Then I time block and colour code in Google Calendar, partly so I know how many hours I’ve worked each week, but mostly so I know how much time I’ve spent on certain projects or tasks. You could totally just use Google Calendar and Asana, but I like the act and art of physically writing things down. And then I do my weekly wins and monthly milestones in my Appointed Task Planner too. I hope that helps, but this has inspired me to write an article about it and take photos to show you exactly what I’ve been doing for years!
