Clarifying Shampoo
The first product you need to start your healthy hair journey is a clarifying shampoo. It’s like a reset or refresh button for your hair, to wipe the slate clean, and start over with a fresh canvas. Use it to do a final wash to get rid of the silicones + waxes out of your hair, once/month to remove build up and on the washday before colour. Sulfate-Free Shampoo
Use a sulfate-free, silicone-free, low-lathering shampoo to wash your hair 2-3 times/week. Apply shampoo to soaking wet hair, then gently massage it into the roots and scalp. Conditioner or Hair Mask
Use the amount of conditioner or hair mask you need to suit the length and thickness of your hair. Apply to the ends of your hair, gradually working your way upwards until you’re about an inch away from the roots. If you think you need more product or more slip to detangle – add more water first. Styling Products
I recommend using two styling products. Something to enhance the definition, such as a serum, mousse or foam. And something to hold it, such as a gel. This gives the best frizz-free definition and long-lasting hold. If your hair is dry, frizzy or damaged you can apply a lightweight leave in conditioner first. Apply your styling products from the ends upwards, smooth down using your hands or a paddle brush, and scrunch up to enhance the definition. Click the product names below to shop.

Dry or Diffuse
Air dry, towel dry or diffuse. Diffusing will always give you the best shape, definition and volume and is the quickest way to dry your hair. Diffuse on a medium heat and medium speed. If you’re in a hurry, up the speed not the heat to dry your hair faster – not hotter. Get a powerful hair dryer with different speed and heat settings, and invest in a good universal diffuser.
