What does it do?
The FOREO UFO3 is a beauty tech facial device designed to boost hydration, revitalise skin and reduce the first signs of ageing. Combining mini sheet masks and massage with LED light therapy, thermal and cryotherapy to stimulate collagen, boost hydration and reduce inflammation. Thermotherapy warms the skin to soften and prep skin, infusing mask ingredients deeper.
Cryotherapy cools the skin, shrinking the appearance of pores and reducing puffiness. The T-sonic pulsations provide a gentle massage to relax facial tension, boost circulation and trigger detoxification. LED light therapy helps to enhance penetration and improve the absorption of active ingredients in the mini sheet masks, for results you can actually see and feel.
Mini Sheet Masks

Using anti-inflammatory and radiance-boosting purple light, glow-boosting orange light, redness-reducing yellow light and blemish-banishing blue light. It also uses calming cyan light, brightening green light and toning white light – which is the longest wavelength. Thankfully it’s much easier and less time-consuming to use than it is actually reading about it!
How to use the FOREO UFO3
You can use the FOREO UFO3 on it’s own, or with the FOREO For You app. Start with clean and dry skin. Remove the attachment ring from UFO™ 3 and remove your UFO™ activated mask from the sachet. Then place the mask onto the device, and secure it by clipping the attachment ring back in place. Turn on UFO™ 3 by pressing the universal button.
Press the universal button again (up to 8 times) to select one of eight pre-set treatments – which I’ll list below. Or select the specialized treatment for your UFO™ activated mask on the app, under the ‘Treatments’ tab. Then let it work it’s magic! Using your UFO™ 3 device, massage the mask formula into your skin with circular motions around the face, until the treatment ends.

Honestly, it’s so quick and easy to use, a ninety second facial with visible results and all the bells and whistles a skincare junkie could ask for! Although, I always repeat the treatment, partly because it’s just such a nice experience, and so my skin can fully absorb all the goodness from the sheet mask and the treatment, helping to create a radiant, youthful and glowing complexion.
Is it worth it?
The FOREO UFO3 device boosts the effect of sheet mask formulas for a better result than just using a sheet mask alone. I know it’s super pricey, but for me the FOREO UFO3 is a good investment in my skincare routine. So I do think it’s worth it – if you have that kind of money to spend. This innovative beauty tech device is a multi functional one that gives great results that you can see and feel immediately.
I’m almost 38 now and dehydration, fine lines and wrinkles are starting to become more visible and noticeable. But I have two teenagers now, and my daughter actually uses this more than I do! She is obsessed with sheet masks and loves the ritual of choosing her mini sheet mask, clipping it on and the sensory experience of heat, cold, massage and vibrations. FOREO UFO2 vs UFO3
I can’t see a difference between the two devices, either in functionality or appearance. Just the price – the FOREO UFO2 is cheaper, and the battery lasts longer with up to 90 uses per charge – so three months of daily use. But they both feature Thermotherapy, Cryotherapy, LED light therapy and T-SonicTM massage using the same mini sheet masks for 2 mins.
